The Philips HR2304/70 can make up to 0.8l of hard ice cream and 1l of soft ice cream in 30 to 50 minutes time. The freezing element should be kept in the freezer for 18 hours, but is small enough to fit in any freezing compartment; the ice cream maker comes with a free recipe booklet with various delicious recipes. The only slight problem that you might encounter is the paddle seizing while the ice cream maker is operating, which is usually caused by harder ingredients in the recipe of ice crystals.
