The Cuisinart professional Ice Cream Maker is a higher-end ice cream maker and therefore pricier. It has quite a few advantages though since you don’t have to freeze a disk or container in the freezer for couple of hours or overnight – all you have to do is have your mixture in the bowl and turn the machine on. In 20 minutes time you will have soft ice cream and 20 more minutes of churning will give you hard ice cream. This is also rather large ice cream maker with 1.5l bowl, but it is advisable not to fill it up and actually make only 1l at a time; this model is also quite noisy and you have to keep it upright for at least 24 hours before the first use. On the other hand, it produces great quality ice cream, comes with free recipe booklet, and sorbet and frozen yogurt can be easily made as well. The Cuisinart Professional Ice Cream Maker comes with five year guarantee.
